Excellent results of RETIA surveillance P-18M radar Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT)
In period from March to July 2011 the comprehensive FAT of fully modernized radar P-18 M were conducted under the supervision of committee established by foreign customers. The fulfillment of all significant items of tactical-technical requirements was successfully verified during tests execution. Committee members were fully satisfied with the achieved results, organization and course of exacting tests.
P-18M radar modernization presents practically complete replacement of all electrical and electronic system parts. The radar is equipped with latest Solid State Transmitter, Digital Receiver, advanced Signal and Data Processing, effective ECCM channel, sophisticated diagnostic system, ergonomic Operator Post and modern communication subsystem.
After the successful P-18M radar FAT completion acceptance protocols were signed by customer's representatives. Thus one of fundamental stage of this important export contract was finished.
RETIA Management thanks to Pardubice Air Base representatives and relevant government institutions and authorities for their cooperation and for issuing approvals and permits required to operate the P-18M radar.
